Services
At SWAVISA, we offer a range of services aimed at supporting survivors and families affected by the tragic events of the June 2021 massacre. Our programs are designed to provide long-term assistance and promote social justice for all affected. These include:
Ongoing Psychosocial Support
We offer continuous psychological and emotional support to survivors and their families. Our trained counselors are available to help individuals navigate the trauma and emotional distress caused by the events of June 2021. This includes individual and group therapy, grief counseling, and community support sessions aimed at rebuilding lives and restoring mental well-being.
Ongoing Medical Support
Survivors who sustained physical injuries during the massacre receive ongoing medical care, including surgeries, physical rehabilitation, and consultations with healthcare professionals. We partner with medical institutions to ensure that survivors get the treatment they need, especially for those who continue to live with debilitating injuries such as bullet wounds, amputations, or other long-term conditions.
Building Social Justice
Our mission goes beyond immediate relief. We are committed to building a future where social justice prevails in Swaziland. SWAVISA works tirelessly to advocate for accountability, pushing for legal action against those responsible for human rights violations. We engage with local and international bodies to raise awareness, ensuring that the atrocities committed are not forgotten and that such violations never happen again.
